            Softball Recap: East Henderson Eagles vs. Smoky Mountain Mustangs        
        
		
        
        
            There's no place like home for East Henderson, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Tuesday. They skirted past the Smoky Mountain Mustangs  8-7. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Mustangs  back in April, they had to take a  6-2  loss.

  Shelby McCall and  Marybeth Blackwell did most of the damage at the plate:  McCall  went 4-for-5 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI, while  Blackwell  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI and one  run. Those  four  hits gave  McCall a new career-high.  Malea Bailey was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
With the  victory, East Henderson broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-18. As for Smoky Mountain,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-18.
As of now, neither East Henderson nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
