Basketball Recap: Stafford Piles Up the Points Against Harmony School of Innovation

Stafford posted their biggest win since November 25th on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Harmony School of Innovation Wildcats 54-11. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Spartans had established a 36 point advantage.

Stafford's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mikya Williams led the charge by going 5 of 9 en route to 11 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Aniyah David, who posted eight points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Stafford smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

Stafford has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season. As for Harmony School of Innovation, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Harmony School of Innovation the next time they take the court. Stafford will host Harmony School of Innovation at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, while Harmony School of Innovation will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
