Volleyball Recap: Lake Travis Snags Sixth Win in Last Seven Games

Lake Travis saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came out on top against the Santa Fe Indians by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lake Travis was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-14.

Gentry Barker paced Lake Travis' offense, picking up 11 kills. Barker got some help from Tatum Wilson and her 15 assists. Finally, Lynden Besecker kept Lake Travis' defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Lake Travis is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Santa Fe, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Lake Travis has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Flour Bluff on the 28th. As for Santa Fe, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Pearland on the 29th.
