Baseball Game Preview: Fairmont Prep Huskies vs. Calvary Chapel Grizzlies

For the second straight game, Fairmont Prep will face off against Calvary Chapel. The Huskies will square off against the Grizzlies at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Fairmont Prep has struggled recently with nine losses in a row, while Calvary Chapel will arrive with three straight victories.

Ryan Lee put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Lee was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Lee wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Kim, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Calvary Chapel's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-7. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Fairmont Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
