Football Recap: West Brunswick's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After soaring to 38 points the game before, West Brunswick was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They took a 24-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chiefs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Eden Romero threw for 62 yards and one touchdown. K'Veon Griffin was his top target, picking up 43 receiving yards. On the ground, Marzell Stanley rushed for 55 yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Brunswick fell to 2-1. As for North Myrtle Beach, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, West Brunswick will look to defend their home field on Friday against South Columbus at 7:00 p.m. As for North Myrtle Beach, they are taking a road trip to square off against Loris at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
