Volleyball Recap: Woodward-Granger Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Woodward-Granger faced off against Pella Christian on Thursday. The Hawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Hawks have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Woodward-Granger now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Pella Christian, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Woodward-Granger will be playing in front of their home fans against Des Moines Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pella Christian, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Washington on the 15th.
