Basketball Recap: LEE Takes a Loss

LEE was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost to the Brandeis Broncos at home by a 72-56 margin. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Volunteers of the 65-55 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

It was another big night for Sean Tisdall, who shot 4-for-5 from deep and dropped a double-double on 26 points and 13 rebounds for Brandeis. Tisdall's morning made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Finley Montoya, who posted 15 points and seven rebounds.

LEE's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Brandeis, their victory bumped their record up to 13-8.

LEE will take on SA Roosevelt at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Brandeis, they will face off against Churchill at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Churchill has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests.
