Greenbrier Christian Academy is a perfect 7-0 against Atlantic Shores Christian since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Gators will challenge the Seahawks at 4:30 p.m. Greenbrier Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current 14-game winning streak.
On Monday, Greenbrier Christian Academy got the win against Hampton Christian Academy by a conclusive 17-1. Considering the Gators have won 14 matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Katelyn Balka made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single hit in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Cora Smith was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Peyton Moran was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double.
Greenbrier Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in six consecutive games.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Atlantic Shores Christian). They blew past Grace Christian School 21-4 on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Seahawks needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Like Greenbrier Christian Academy, Atlantic Shores Christian also got a great game from a two-way player: Trinity Boggs. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Boggs was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season.
In other batting news, Atlantic Shores Christian got a massive performance out of Genevieve Eichelberger, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Layla Berry, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Greenbrier Christian Academy pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, their record is now 4-5.
Tuesday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Greenbrier Christian Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .447. However, it's not like Atlantic Shores Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .368. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
