Phillips Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Phillips Exeter Academy Lions. That's more bragging rights for the Big Blue, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jacob Honor looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Garrett Falahee and Caleb Penn did most of the damage at the plate: Falahee went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Penn went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double was Penn's first of the season.

Phillips Academy now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Phillips Exeter Academy, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Lions beat Phillips Academy by a score of 7-3 on Monday.
