Volleyball Game Preview: Mission College Prep Royals vs. Atascadero Greyhounds

The Mission College Prep Royals will head out to square off against the Atascadero Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mission College Prep has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the seventh.

Last Tuesday, Mission College Prep came up short against Templeton and fell 3-1.

Atascadero not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 9, 2024. They blew past Santa Maria 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Greyhounds in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won four in a row.

Atascadero not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Santa Maria between 16 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-16, 25-19.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-10. As for Mission College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.
