Volleyball Recap: Paw Paw Comes Up Short

Paw Paw lost against Berkeley Springs back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pirates fell 3-1 to the Indians. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-20, 19-25, 25-15, 25-21.

Berkeley Springs can attribute much of their success to Cambria Andrews, who had 16 digs and two aces.

Paw Paw's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Berkeley Springs, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 11-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Paw Paw and Pocahontas County will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Berkeley Springs, they will square off against Moorefield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
