Softball Recap: Freedom Area Bulldogs vs. New Brighton Lions
In what's become a running theme this season, Freedom Area gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 13-2 margin over the New Brighton Lions. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Freedom Area.
Emilee Waggoner was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Waggoner was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Haydan Baucan was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. Shaye Bailey was another key contributor, going 3-for-3 with two runs, a triple, and an RBI.
