Basketball Recap: Three Rivers Takes a Loss

Three Rivers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Refugio Bobcats, falling 62-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered against the Bobcats since January 4, 2022.

Three Rivers' loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Refugio, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Three Rivers will host Kenedy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Kenedy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.2 points per game this season. As for Refugio, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Skidmore-Tynan at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Refugio is facing Skidmore-Tynan at the right time seeing as Skidmore-Tynan is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
