Soccer Recap: Central Takes a Loss

If Central was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Paul W. Bryant on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons lost 7-0 to the Northridge Jaguars on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for Central in their meetings with Northridge: they've now lost five in a row.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Northridge, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-1-2.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Brookwood on the 7th. As for Northridge, they will face off against Oak Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Mountain will roll in looking for their 21st straight victory, something Northridge surely won't give up without a fight.
