Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Walton). Everything went their way against the Susquehanna Valley Sabers on Friday as the Walton Warriors made off with a 54-32 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.
Despite the loss, Susquehanna Valley still got an impressive performance from Jesse Frear, who picked up 219 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 46 yards. Aiden Howard was in the mix too, providing Susquehanna Valley with two touchdowns.
The win got Walton back to even at 3-3. As for Susquehanna Valley, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Walton will challenge Delaware Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Delaware Academy is coming into the matchup with three straight victories on the road, so Walton will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Susquehanna Valley, they will face off against Sidney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Susquehanna Valley is facing Sidney at the right time seeing as Sidney is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
