Football Game Preview: Moorestown Quakers vs. Steinert Spartans

The Moorestown Quakers will venture away from home to square off against the Steinert Spartans at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Moorestown's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 28-0 win over Haddon Heights. The Quakers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Jack Keenan had a dynamite game, picking up 204 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 204 receiving yards gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Steinert entered their tilt with Notre Dame on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Irish by a score of 26-18.

Moorestown's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Steinert, their record is now 4-1.

Moorestown came up short against Steinert when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 10-0. Can the Quakers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
