If Shawnee Mission South wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played St. James Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Ellen Dorsey. The Thunder came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 2-0 on Saturday with plenty of help from Dorsey, who had 24 assists and three digs. Dorsey is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.

The victory made it two in a row for St. James Academy and bumps their season record up to 18-8. As for Shawnee Mission South, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11-2 record this season.

St. James Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Shawnee Mission Northwest on the 4th. As for Shawnee Mission South, they will head out on the road to face off against Olathe Northwest at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
