Volleyball Recap: Hanover Gets the Win

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bears on Monday. Hanover came out on top against Winnisquam by a score of 3-1. Hanover hasn't had any issues with Winnisquam recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Hanover was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 18-25, 25-4, 25-19.

Among those leading the charge was Sage Farger, who had three digs and two aces. What's more, she racked up 31 assists, the most she's had over her last six contests.

Farger wasn't the only good servers: Hanover was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Hanover's record is now 5-1. As for Winnisquam, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Hanover wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Merrimack Valley on the 25th. As for Winnisquam, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Manchester West on the 24th.
