Soccer Game Preview: Wheatland vs. Marysville + How To Watch

The Wheatland Pirates will head out to face off against the Marysville Indians at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Wheatland's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Wheatland's offense. They lost 4-0 to Oakmont on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Marysville's game on Wednesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Mira Loma by a score of 2-1.

Wheatland's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Marysville, they now have a losing record of 2-3-1.

Wheatland beat Marysville by a goal when the teams last played back in February, winning 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
