Volleyball Recap: West Holt's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Neligh-Oakdale came into Thursday's match looking for another win against West Holt, but Pavan Larson wouldn't allow it. The Huskies put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday thanks in part to Larson, who had five digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having also posted 26 or more assists the last three times she's played.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-19.

West Holt found their leader in sophomore Larson, who had five digs and two aces. Hollynn Konrad also set a new season-high mark in kills with 12.

The win snapped West Holt's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 10-7 record. As for Neligh-Oakdale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

West Holt has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Elgin/Pope John on the 27th. As for Neligh-Oakdale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against St. Mary's on the 29th.
