Soccer Recap: Sussex Central Takes a Loss

Sussex Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the Franklin Broncos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Franklin this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 last Tuesday.

Sussex Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Franklin, they pushed their record up to 6-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Sussex Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Franklin, they will challenge Southampton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Franklin's defense better be ready for this one: Southampton have averaged an impressive 3.8 goals per game this season.
