Baseball Game Preview: Hilliard Davidson Wildcats vs. Upper Arlington Golden Bears

For the second straight game, Hilliard Davidson will face off against Upper Arlington. The Wildcats will head out to square off against the Golden Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hilliard Davidson is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

The home team had come away the winner the last three times Hilliard Davidson and Upper Arlington had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Wildcats fell just short of the Golden Bears by a score of 4-3 on Monday.

Andrew Sherman was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.

On the hitting side, Hilliard Davidson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reynaldo Pelaez, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another was Luke Emery, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Hilliard Davidson's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Upper Arlington, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
