Volleyball Recap: New Caney Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

There's no place like home for New Caney, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cypress Ridge Rams on Thursday. While the Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-27), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

New Caney's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 10-4. As for Cypress Ridge, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

New Caney wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Spring on the 21st. As for Cypress Ridge, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Tomball on the 21st.
