Basketball Recap: El Primero Lobos vs. Lincoln Lions
El Primero played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 68-22 defeat at the hands of the Lincoln Lions. The Lobos have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Lincoln got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Luka Papoulias out in front who posted 14 points and eight rebounds. Jaymes Purvis was another key player, putting up 14 points.
El Primero's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Lincoln, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5.
El Primero will welcome Summit Tahoma at 7:00 p.m. on January 14th. As for Lincoln, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 72-32 win against Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit on the 8th.
