Neumann-Goretti and Trinity squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Neumann-Goretti had to settle for second. They fell 26-22 to the Shamrocks. The Saints' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Mason Boyer was the offensive standout of the game as he threw for 132 yards and a pair of TDs, and also punched in two scores on the ground. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024.

Neumann-Goretti's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Trinity, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-3.

Neumann-Goretti does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Trinity, they will be playing at home against Northwestern Lehigh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Shamrocks will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
