Basketball Recap: L'Anse Creuse Takes a Loss

L'Anse Creuse was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 56-24 loss at the hands of the Romeo Bulldogs. The game marked the Lancers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

L'Anse Creuse's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Romeo, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-6.

L'Anse Creuse will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on L'Anse Creuse North at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th. As for Romeo, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 46-45 defeat against Armada on the 7th.
