Game recap: Sharon High School Football Team defeats Wayland

WAYLAND, Mass. - Sharon (Mass.) had its advantage, which at one point stood at 12 points, drop to nine before the final whistle blew on a 12-3 victory over Wayland (Mass.).

The Eagles were up 6-0 at the half after taking the lead on a Sean O Neill touchdown pass to Sean Asnes in the second quarter.

Sharon expanded its lead to nine points entering the fourth quarter. SHS scored once in the quarter on a Asnes touchdown run.



Asnes played well for the Eagles in the victory. He ran for one touchdown and caught one touchdown.

Sharon went into the matchup giving up only 17.9 points per game.
