Athens/Greenview (Athens, Ill.) 42-14 thanks to dual threat quarterback

After taking the lead on a Lindsey touchdown pass to
Cole Courson in the first quarter, the Bullets were up 27-8 at the half.
Williamsville expanded its lead to 26 points entering the fourth quarter. WHS scored once in the quarter on a touchdown pass by Lindsey to
Vince Vignali.
The Bullets had given up an average of 6.7 points prior to the contest.
Williamsville also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 27-6.
The loss comes after Athens/Greenview defeated New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly 15-14 last week.
Athens/Greenview (4-3) will play a Sangamo game against Pleasant Plains next week, while Williamsville (7-0) will take on Riverton also in a Sangamo game.
