            Basketball Recap: Yuma Outlaws vs. Sterling Tigers        
        
		
        
        
             Yuma gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener  on Tuesday. They took down the Sterling Tigers 44-25. That's more bragging rights for the Outlaws, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Yuma's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Bailey Nighswonger led the charge by  scoring two points along with six  assists and six  rebounds. The dominant performance gave  Nighswonger a new career-high in  assists.  Jade Lungwitz was another key player,  going 6 for 15 en route to 15 points plus two  steals.
 Yuma will hit the road for the first time this season to  square off against  Wray  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Sterling, they will square off against Brush at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Sterling is looking for their season's first  victory.
