Volleyball Recap: Rampart Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Legacy

On Saturday, Rampart faced Legacy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Rampart Rams came up short against the Legacy Lightning, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lightning this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13, 25-12.

This is the second loss in a row for Rampart and nudges their season record down to 4-6. As for Legacy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Rampart wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Coronado on the 18th. As for Legacy, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Rangeview on the 18th.
