Basketball Recap: North Beach Comes Up Short

North Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They fell 44-32 to the Chief Leschi Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hyaks this season, with their most recent loss being a 40-37 defeat back in January.

When it comes to explaining why North Beach lost, don't look at JJ Eastman. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 24 points and 18 boards. What's more, Eastman also posted a 50% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's posted since back in December of 2024.

North Beach's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Chief Leschi, their victory bumped their record up to 3-16.

North Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chief Leschi, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-35 defeat against Onalaska on the 8th.
