Basketball Recap: East Stroudsburg South Comes Up Short

East Stroudsburg South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 52-33 bruising from the Liberty Hurricanes. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 493rd, while the Hurricanes are ranked 45th).

East Stroudsburg South's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Liberty, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3.

East Stroudsburg South will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Pocono Mountain West at 7:00 p.m. As for Liberty, they will take on Hazleton Area at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.
