Mt. Hope came into Monday's game looking for another win against Lincoln, but Lucia Whyte wouldn't allow it. The Lincoln Lions secured a 43-38 W over the Mt. Hope Huskies on Monday thanks in part to Whyte, who posted 18 points. Those 18 points gave her a new career-high.

The victory made it two in a row for Lincoln and bumps their season record up to 7-11. As for Mt. Hope, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 39-23 defeat against North Smithfield on the 5th. As for Mt. Hope, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-36 loss against Scituate on the 4th.
