Volleyball Recap: Springfield Find Success

Springfield won the last time they faced Jacksonville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Senators came out on top against the Crimsons by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Senators.

Springfield can attribute much of their success to Ainsley Lambert, who had 12 digs. That's the most digs Lambert has posted since back in September. Jocelyn Anderson also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Springfield's win bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Jacksonville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-15.

Springfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Sacred Heart-Griffin on the 11th. As for Jacksonville, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Camp Point Central on the 11th.
