If Colfax was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Wheatland on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons lost 3-0 to the Bear River Bruins on Thursday. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

While Colfax ultimately came up short, they really made Bear River work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 27-25, 25-17.

Brooke Milligan was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 35 assists. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 12 games she's played.

Colfax's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Bear River, their win was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 30-6.
