Basketball Recap: Flandreau Extends Winning Streak to Four

Flandreau had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Garretson Blue Dragons by a score of 58-47. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Fliers also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Flandreau is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.1 points per game. As for Garretson, they dropped their record down to 6-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Flandreau will take on West Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Garretson, they will square off against Baltic at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th.
