Central came out on top against McKay on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive 13-run first inning. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 20-3 margin over the Royal Scots. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by nine runs or more this season.

The win (which was Central's third in a row) raised their record to 11-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for McKay, their defeat was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will welcome West Albany at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least ten runs in their last seven contests. As for McKay, they will host Corvallis at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Royal Scots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season.
