Soccer Recap: Ephrata Takes a Loss

Ephrata was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Conestoga Valley Buckskins. While losing is never fun, Ephrata can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 342nd, while Conestoga Valley are ranked 98th).

Ephrata's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Conestoga Valley, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Ephrata has already played their next match (against J.P. McCaskey), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Conestoga Valley, they will venture away from home to take on Manheim Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
