Volleyball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Marshall entered their matchup against Eagle Rock on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Barristers fell 3-1 to the Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Marshall ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 20-25, 25-20.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Eagle Rock, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-8.
