Volleyball Recap: Sierra Takes a Loss

Sierra came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Mountain House Mustangs. The Timberwolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 25-15.

Mountain House had a senior duo take command as Amogh Janganure had 15 digs and two aces and Zyston Bright had 17 assists and six digs. Those 17 assists set a new season-high mark for Bright.

Sierra moved to 5-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Mountain House, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.

Coming up, Sierra will face off against Kimball at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mountain House, they will challenge Manteca at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
