Softball Recap: Wabash Takes a Loss

Wabash made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Blackford, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Apaches fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 6-4 on Monday. The loss leaves the Apaches still looking for their first win of the season.

Andi Conliff was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double. Gretta France also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Wabash's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Blackford, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Wabash didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 5-4 win against Marion on the 18th. As for Blackford, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-0 loss against South Adams on the 16th.
