Terrell County has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against The Randolph-Clay Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Randolph-Clay took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Terrell County, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Terrell County beat Seminole County 18-7.
Terrell County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shaheed Huckaby, who picked up 67 receiving yards and a touchdown. Chavius Jones did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 84 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Randolph-Clay's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. Their rough 45-22 defeat to Mitchell County might stick with them for a while.
Terrell County's win bumped their record up to 4-4. As for Randolph-Clay, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-5.
Terrell County strolled past Randolph-Clay in their previous meeting back in November of 2022 by a score of 28-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for Terrell County since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
