Soccer Recap: Winfield-Mt. Union Takes a Loss

Winfield-Mt. Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Mt. Pleasant Panthers.

Winfield-Mt. Union's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mt. Pleasant, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 3-0-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Winfield-Mt. Union will challenge Mid-Prairie at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Winfield-Mt. Union are facing Mid-Prairie at the right time seeing as Mid-Prairie are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will face off against Fairfield at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give Mt. Pleasant their first taste of in-conference action this season.
