Groton-Dunstable waltzed into their matchup on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Blackstone-Millville Chargers as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Groton-Dunstable took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-12, 25-12.

Bridget Houle paced Groton-Dunstable's offense, picking up 11 kills. Houle got some help from Ella Barske and her 16 assists. Barske was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Defeat or not, Blackstone-Millville got some senior leadership from Miya Gagne and Alyssa Millette. Gagne had 11 digs, while Millette had two aces. Millette has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

Groton-Dunstable's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Blackstone-Millville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Groton-Dunstable will challenge Bedford at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Blackstone-Millville, they will take on Milford at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
