Clinton came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 60-37 to Evansville.

Meanwhile, Edgerton came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 42-31.

Edgerton pushed their record up to 20-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.7 points over those games. As for Clinton, their loss dropped their record down to 5-18.
