Volleyball Recap: Sydney Carr's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Forsyth Central over West Forsyth + How To Watch

Forsyth Central lost against West Forsyth back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolverines. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wolverines 25-18 in the first set.

Forsyth Central started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-11, 25-12, 25-23.

Forsyth Central lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Sydney Carr, who had 11 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Adeline Wieler went supernova For West Forsyth., getting 26 digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Macey Chupp, who had seven digs and two aces.

Forsyth Central's loss dropped their record down to 13-15. As for West Forsyth, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-16.

Coming up, Forsyth Central will challenge Pace Academy at 9:30 a.m. on the 27th. As for West Forsyth, they will host Westminster at 5:30 p.m. on the 30th.
