Baseball Recap: Early Comes Up Short

Early's last matchup with Breckenridge could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. Early lost 10-3 to Breckenridge. The Longhorns have struggled against the Buckaroos recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Brayden Moya made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaxson Stockman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Early's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Breckenridge, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-8-1.
