Softball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 6-3 to the Sylacauga Aggies. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Aggies when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Sylacauga, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-14.

While Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
