Brecksville-Broadview Heights takes loss despite strong efforts from Jessie Zenir and Adelyn Rahe

Recap: Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees vs. Solon Comets

After flying high against the Hudson Explorers last Saturday, the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees came back down to earth. Brecksville-Broadview Heights' rough 71-51 loss to Solon on Wednesday might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Brecksville-Broadview Heights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while Solon is ranked 29th).

Despite the loss, Brecksville-Broadview Heights had strong showings from Adelyn Rahe, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and two steals, and Jessie Zenir, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rahe has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashley Perdion, who scored six points along with three blocks.

Brecksville-Broadview Heights' loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Solon, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brecksville-Broadview Heights will take on Twinsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Solon, they will be playing at home against Wadsworth at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
