Three Texas teams join Lions in top 10 – Byron Nelson, Cornerstone Christian and Dripping Springs.
Prestonwood Christian (Plano, Texas) grabbed a pair of wins over nationally-ranked teams en route to the Volleypalooza title, retaining its hold on the No. 1 spot in the MaxPreps Top 25 high school volleyball rankings.
Despite the loss to Prestonwood Christian, Dripping Springs is the biggest climber in this week's rankings, jumping eight spots after racking up 31 wins by the start of September.
More tournament action that could impact the rankings is in store in the coming weeks with the Dave Mohs OC Championship in Southern California this week and the Durango Fall Classic in the middle of the month.
